Requirements –

Fedora 9 bootable CD,6 GB free space,512 MB RAM

1.Booting from the live CD

“Rescue installed system” :

It is used to repair or rescue a operating system that is already installed . To load the rescue system with the installation disc, choose Rescue installed system from the boot menu. Specify the language, keyboard layout and network settings for the rescue system with the screens that follow. The final setup screen configures access to the existing system on your computer. By default, rescue mode attaches an existing operating system to the rescue system under the directory /mnt/sysimage/.
