
Microsoft announced in windows team blog that they are planned to stop sales and support for windows service pack2 & Windows Vista RTM. Already Windows Vista RTM operating system has ended its sales and support on April 13, 2010 Original equipment manufacturer ‘s can’t sale Windows XP Home on new netbook PCs. The customers may not have much change because many netbook PC makers have started manufacturing and selling windows 7 netbooks. Windows 7 was released in October 2009. National Purchase Diary survey says 81% of netbooks was sold with windows 7 installed from April 2010.
I remind you people who are still using windows XP2 will not have any more support after July 13, 2010. Support for Windows XP Service Pack 3 will have updates through Microsoft Update website till April 2014. The Windows XP Home will no longer available for PC’s as the one-year anniversary of Windows 7′s consumer launch.
