Scam is a very big issue all the time. People loose maximum of their money with Scamster’s. Ofcourse, its because of the greediness of a person. Anyhow the only solution is guiding the public about the possible scam scenarios to get rid off these problems.
Not only in emails its now started with SMS too. Lots of advertisements and Scam messages started to fill the mobile inboxes these days. below is the best example for such Scam SMS. All i would say is stay away from this kind of messages and never look at the open sky to get a fortune…

These people get your mobile number or email address from the websites or forums you normally register with to access some services. For an example if you have used your mobile number in a Gaming website then it has high possibility to get used by Scammers. I didn’t mean all the gaming websites. Websites that didn’t pass certain Trust related services are the best one to know here. Avoid using real email addresses or mobile numbers while registering for some online gaming, casino kind of services. Temporary email addresses will really help to overcome this issues. Google for Temporary Email Accounts to get some temporary email services to protect you from this kind of issues.

I am from south africa…My sister received the same e-mail saying she had won 1,000,000 pounds And tah she neede to send her name and mobile number to HEINEKENUK@LIVE.COM. what surprises me is that if you have really won why do they need you to send them your numbers which shows they send this sms’s to random numbers, be cause they should get your info for your service provider.

Mr.Khan, Kindly ignore further call or mail from them. Still found any problem with those people then warn them that you are going to approach local cyber crime department for necessary action. Thats enough to make them stay away from you.

I had recently enrolled into the Indian railways online booking system and had , quite inadvertently, submitted my cellphone number there…wonder whether that had anything to do with this affair!!
