Yes, Astalavista – the site maintained by Security and IT professionals from various part of the world got Hacked today. This site is very famous for advisories and articles in network, security and programming categories. These people are said to be the leaders in the Security domain – An Underground Security Team.
The hacker also left complete info about the server which he obtained through out the hacking process he carried out. such as FTP, SSH, Database, Users, some more info. It seems the hacker also, deleted the database from the server. Hope, Astalavista team have a perfect backup systems in place. The complete set of user names, email addresses, and their hashed passwords are displayed too in the document too.
The hacker did backup of the database before deleting them. So we can expect the DB Backup in internet soon.
