WordPress is one of the famous Open source blog software. There are many premium theme, plugin service providers across internet. Today few of their servers are under heavy DDos attack and its confirmed by Theme-Junkie Owner, Roy. As per his email to all his subscribers, Themejunkie, Woothemes, and Templatic are under DDOS Attack and server administrators are working hard to trace back and solve this issue.
It appears like there is a server related exploit that let the attackers to cause this DDOS attack.
Theme Junkie is now under a heavy DDoS attack since 6 Dec, the attack haven’t stop till now. We don’t know who is attacking, but we know other theme providers (WooThemes, Templatic, etc.) are under attack as well. We are still working with the hosting guys to make sure eveything could work smothly again asap, sorry for inconvenience.
